SALES TEAM
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact between GoodEvent and potential new clients, and the very beginning of our sales cycle. You will be the voice of the company, introducing GoodEvent and explaining the business value our products bring to business owners all over the world. In this role, you become a real product and industry expert, using your knowledge to win new business leads.
What will you be doing?
- Using your incredible communication skills to build brand new relationships between GoodEvent and potential clients.
- Working closely with an Account Executive, who will mentor and help to develop your sales skills, while you support their activity by creating sales leads and booking their product demonstrations.
- Owning your territory and choosing which companies to call and will have the autonomy to be creative with how you introduce GoodEvent to prospects.
- Learning the necessary tools to be able to succeed in the role; what we ask of you is a can-do attitude and an open mind to learning.
- Researching using varied and creative techniques to identify business opportunities (sales leads).
Requirements
- B2B sales or lead generation experience, ideally within the software industry (desirable).
- You are super organised, and love being in charge of your own time

Your responsibilities
- Onboarding new customers. Onboarding is the process of setting up a new customer (or user) account on our system. You’ll be in charge of checking their inventory, branding, customer lists and other data sets.
- Solving problems. Our customers will look to you as the first point of contact when they have an issue to be solved.
- Keeping up to date with new product & software releases.
- Reporting to senior management on the progression of each new user
Nice to haves
- Experience in a CRM system or ticketing system like Zendesk.
- Proven track record in customer success.
- Experience in sales.
