Why Good Event exists

Events run on WhatsApp, whiteboards, spreadsheets, and someone’s memory. Most days, it works. Until it doesn’t.

We started Good Event because we’ve lived the chaos — missed deliveries, double bookings, crews out of sync, last-minute changes, paperwork everywhere. We didn’t set out to “build a SaaS platform”. We just wanted tools that made the job run smoother.

Now we build for the whole event ecosystem — suppliers, planners, site managers, ops leads, and crews — the people who actually make things happen.

SALES TEAM

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact between GoodEvent and potential new clients, and the very beginning of our sales cycle. You will be the voice of the company, introducing GoodEvent and explaining the business value our products bring to business owners all over the world. In this role, you become a real product and industry expert, using your knowledge to win new business leads.

What will you be doing?

  • Using your incredible communication skills to build brand new relationships between GoodEvent and potential clients.
  • Working closely with an Account Executive, who will mentor and help to develop your sales skills, while you support their activity by creating sales leads and booking their product demonstrations.
  • Owning your territory and choosing which companies to call and will have the autonomy to be creative with how you introduce GoodEvent to prospects.
  • Learning the necessary tools to be able to succeed in the role; what we ask of you is a can-do attitude and an open mind to learning.
  • Researching using varied and creative techniques to identify business opportunities (sales leads). ‍

Requirements

  • B2B sales or lead generation experience, ideally within the software industry (desirable).
  • You are super organised, and love being in charge of your own time
  • 🔥 You are money motivated, uncapped commissions mean your salary can be what you make it! 🔥
  • An interest in technology and how it is used to drive business forward.
  • You love talking to new people, and are a confident communicator
  • You thrive working to (and exceeding) targets.
  • You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges.
  • You are experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working independently.

CUSTOMER TEAM OVERVIEW

We are looking for a friendly Account Manager. Someone who is outgoing, approachable, can work analytically and is confident on phone and emails.

Must-haves

  • Telephone skills & confidence speaking with customers.
  • Happy emailing and responding to customer issues.
  • Enjoy problem solving and getting to the route of an issue.
  • Experience in Excel / Google sheets. ‍

Your responsibilities

  • Onboarding new customers. Onboarding is the process of setting up a new customer (or user) account on our system. You’ll be in charge of checking their inventory, branding, customer lists and other data sets.
  • Solving problems. Our customers will look to you as the first point of contact when they have an issue to be solved.
  • Keeping up to date with new product & software releases.
  • Reporting to senior management on the progression of each new user

Nice to haves

  • Experience in a CRM system or ticketing system like Zendesk.
  • Proven track record in customer success.
  • Experience in sales.
